Common Baltic Securities Market
The OMX stock exchanges in Vilnius, Tallinn and Riga have formed a common Baltic market to reduce the disparities between the Lithuanian, Estonian and Latvian stock markets and to facilitate securities trading. All three exchanges share the same trading system, harmonised trading rules and trading practices, which should reduce the cost of trading in the Baltic countries and attract more investment to the region.
